BCF2000 Set-up Problem

2012-11-10 by platform_d

I'm having problems with the BCF2000 on Windows XP using Cubase. I have updated the firmware successfully and installed the drivers. I have tried several different modes with varying success.

I had it working (motorized faders and all) in Baby HUI Mode in USB 3 Mode with the USB cable last night, however, this morning I opened Cubase and it didn't work. I have tried all the different modes, re-starting both Cubase and the computer but nothing. I tried connecting it via a Midi to USB cable but got nothing through any of the modes? I currently having it semi working in Baby HUI mode and U3, but the motorized faders do not work (I can change values with the physical faders on Cubase, but they do not move physically when I change in Cubase)

I have read through all the forums here and elsewhere but nothing seems to work. I have tried re-installing the drivers etc. BCF View is just blank and never seems to change. I used BCEdit to update the sysex file.

I just don't understand how it works 1 minute and not the next?

Any help from you guys would be most appreciated. I'm not going to give up but I may have a little cry in a minute I just want to make some music!)

Again had it working perfectly late last night and again this morning it's connected in Baby HUI mode and everything works except the motorized faders. (Cubase faders move up & down but the physical ones don't move when I move them in Cubase)

When it worked last night it put itself in PL mode but I'm not sure how it did that?
