Hi Mike, I've tried registering for http://smfw30.svetlik.be/ but was unable to nor was I able to download http://smfw30.svetlik.be/download/SMFW30_Setup.exe I received a "Could not find virtual file SMFW30_Setup error". Do you know where else I might be able to find that application? Thanks, Joey. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Perkowitz" <perkowitz@gmail.com> To: bc2000@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, December 3, 2012 2:37:28 PM Subject: Re: [bc2000] Control Roland W-30 I'm skeptical that it'd be very manageable to manipulate the W-30 over midi in the way you need to. One possible solution: I believe the W-30 is compatible with the S-330, and those are dirt cheap these days (I just picked one up for $60). You could pick one up, load your sounds and resample them, then sell the 330 again (or keep it and ditch the W-30). I don't know the fine points, but I've seen the W-30 described as the keyboard version of the 330, so I'm guessing the programs would be pretty similar. Not sure how to navigate. I was hoping I could use the BCR to control the W-30 remotely in order to grab some sounds off of it. Anyone have a W-30 template or perhaps a VST that would accomplish the same thing? I'm totally open to any suggestions. Would be much appreciated. Cheers.
