Yes and no. I did get the stuttering ... but it was because I had a flaw in my handling of real-time messages. Once I dealt with this all was well. So my point (which someone else has also said they were going to use midi-merger to solve) is IF you are running into a limitation of the BCN44, then you could make a small "corrector" device for a few Euro's to work around it.
