Easy! Get A Mac ;) 
 
Naa - can't bare the thought of using a system where each word is
capitalised ! Not to mention payiong too much for everything involved,
constricted range of hardware and software, and seemingly regular planned
total obsolesence.
 
Seriously, Try To Clean Up the Drivers Manually. It's Probably An Issue With
Your Windows Installation, So Many Factors to List.  
 
I think it's more likely to do with and issue with the particular USB
chipset.
 
 It Was Always Like that? Or Have You Installed Anything New and Started
Since then?
