Ok I understand now. Although I do work with Sonar I recently switched to live 9 which has native Mackie Mode for the BCF2000. But from what I read about you making tutorial vids, wouldn't it be a piece of cake for you to adjust some of the orphaned settinge with ACT, MIDI Learn or BCManager? --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "redbrickdream" <blades@...> wrote: > > MCU is Mackie Control Emulation and is the mode the BCF can be put in to control a DAW - it's preferred by some for two way ciommunication with known control libraries within the DAW software. > > Cakewalk Sonar has two new version that have old implementations of the MCU dll files in use so many of the standard features don't work like they should, such as the EQ control modes. I'm curious if anyone here has any updates about the status of things since the MCU features of the BCF2000 in Sonar have not really fully worked since the release of X1 and through the X2 release...and now it seems that either X3 or some other update is near release. Just curious if anyone knows anything. > > > > > > Also, if anyone is interested, I have two videos on my website about how to use the BCF2000 in Sonar. While it's based on the 8.x series of Sonar, most of it is still relevant. You can check them out here: http://www.blades85.com > > > > > > Thanks. > > > > > >
