The problem would be that there are nowhere near as many buttons as 
knobs...  The ESQ-1 has about a hundred different NRPN's, enough that 
I'm really going to have to either just choose ones I want, or setup 
multiple presets in the BCR to have enough.  If every NRPN needs to have 
a button, the dilemma becomes much worse.  I suppose it would be ok if I 
could use a knob to adjust what NRPN a button emits, but that's probably 
not possible.
