The encoders can have a different resolution for very slow, slow, medium and fast turning.
The encoders have a resolution of 96 and if set to 96 then you will get all the midi values.
If you set it to, say, twice 96 (192) you will only get every other value and other resolution values give what appears to be odd sequences.
