The CC tells the BCR what kind (status byte) of Midi messages it is.Otherwise I think you are correct.
Note that if this was a Button....easypar CC 1 1 127 0  increment 8

max and min are swapped.This feature was an add on and perhaps this format was easier to implement.
Grab Mark's manual that comes with his BC manger software for detailed explanation on the forms of easypar.
