Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi all, thnx for the efforts you put everyday on this group.
I am a newbie and  I'm trying to make my bcr2000 working like a roland pg 800 in order to squeeze all of the juice out of my roland jx8p  with no success..
Please, could someone help me and sort this out...
 From the group's folder  I have already downloaded the roland jx-8p bcr 2000 syx file as well as bcr2000 roland jx-8p .bc2 file..and I tried to send them to the bcr 2000 but i had no success on it.
I have already switched on the sys ex  parameter on my roland jx-8p and  selected the channel 16 
Is there any discussion or tutorial about it?
