There is a missing ' in the name but that won't cause the error
$preset stuff
.name 'DSI Evolver ;
should be
.name 'DSI Evolver '

.fkeys oncut
should be
.fkeys on

$encoder 54
.showvalue on er

the er shouldn't be here

If you use the latest version of the editor, when you send the preset and there is an error, a button next to the SEND appears.
Click this "Read Errors" button and a list of errors will display.
Double Click on the error line and you will be taken back to the editor at the line that the error occured.

You have set the resolution to the same value for all turning speeds
try
.resolution 25 48 96 96
Turning it really slowly will only change the value by 25 in a full turn
Turning it slowly will change the value by 48 (half he 96) in a full turn
etc

Pity I don't have a n Evolver, looks great, well done.
