Re: Anyone here use a Rocktron All Access?

2008-03-16 by rpcfender

Hi Jeff,

I don't have a Rocktron, but I use a Behringer FCB1010 which was pretty ordinary when I got it but the guys at
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/fcb1010_uno

Uno group have a new version of the software chip that just drops in and now it is great. (I must admit there is a bit of my code in there too. That, of course, may put you off)
I use it to merge my Yamaha WX7 Midi Woodwind controller to control various synths and it now works brilliantly.

I think Rodger Linn's AdrenaLin 3 would be easily controlled by the FBC1010 Uno

The cost of the Rocktron, for what you get, is incredibly expensive. All it seems to be is a bunch of switches, not even a continuous controller. But it's Midi output might be a bit more programmable, so maybe you need that.

Hope this helps

Royce
