is it possible to have mackie mode as a preset?

is it possible to have mackie mode as a preset?

2008-04-14 by the19thbear

hi.
is it possible to have mackie mode as a preset?
I can "boot" up the bcf in mackie mode, but then i loose normal midi
capabilites to control, say , vst synths or external synths.
so is it possible to save the mackie mode as a preset in "normal" mode?
that way i could swithc between mackie mixer mode and controlling my
vst/external midi stuff without shutting down my DAW software, turning
off my bcf and turn everything back on again!
thanks

well as far as i understand it you can control the mixer and the vsts
in mackie mode alone, im not sure why you would need to use presets.

you can save them as presents, im not sure how you do it but a guy on
the ableton forum (Pasha) managed to do it somehow

...his is the script I use, there's another thread on here by me that
explains it a bit
