Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

I've subscribed on this list for awhile, but not yet presented myself.

I'm Christophe, 29, from Belgium. I have my home-studio to write and produce
Electro-Pop music mainly (see www.brainmusic.be).
I've bought the BCF2k to control Cakewalk Sonar 3. Does anybody else use it with
Sonar ?
Currently, I use the Sonar3 patch supplied by Behringer, but I'm not so
satisfied of it. I also see that Sonar seems to don't send controls and
paramters to the BCF2k. For ex., when I load a song (project), the volume, pan,
... parameters are not sent to the BCF. Is it normal, is there any option to
modify for this?

Hi Chris,

I don't have a BCF2K but i've been following the threads over at
cakewalk's forums about the automation problems, and it seemed that
most of their problems were solved when behringer implemented Mackie
Control emulation in their latest firmware. have you tried this?

also, there's a couple of people working on a more generic control
plugin that should allow greater flexibility when assigning controls
to the behringer surfaces. and of course, it would be great if
cakewalk had updated their own generic control surface module with
midi out for the imminent new version of sonar.
