Encoder controlling 2 vsti parameters at the same time

Encoder controlling 2 vsti parameters at the same time

2008-05-05 by bassie_a

Hi,

I use a bcr with cubase 4 to control my vsti's. Now I have the problem
that when moving a rotary assigned to one parameter of a vsti another
parameter starts to change as well. It happens with both refx nexus
and the korg ms-20 (the only ones hooked up at the moment).
I have checked for double midi cc number but that doesn't seeme to be
the problem.

Does anybody know how to solve this?

Cheers Marc.

Hi Marc,

are you controlling the VST instruments via the Generic Remote, or you
send CCs straight to their midi track? if so, maybe the "monitor"
button (the one near the rec arm button)is activated on two or more
midi tracks, all receiving midi from the bcr - but i guess you already
checked....

Thanks for your reply.
I'm using the generic remote. I programmed it from scratch. I checked
the preset I use in BCR Manager (great program by the way) and
everything seems to be ok.
In Nexus it's another encoder causing the problem than with Korg
ms-20. So I guess it's not the bcr.
Any help is much appreciated.

Marc
