Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

I have had the BCF (LC Mode) with LCXmu for a while & am just getting
into the BCR.

Are there any pre existing presets for Logic's instruments & plugins
for the BCR ?

So far I have used logic's learn facility to map a page of controls to
the BCR. This gives no feed back, is there any way round this ?

Also I am using random midi messages. I am not even sure what midi
controller numbers the BCR is sending out but logic sees them &
responds. I guess the best way is to make the controller use the
default logic values ? 

I don't know does logic uses midi for soft synths or is it all meta data ?

So what are the best controller numbers to use when programming 
presets from scratch.

I also could not get the learn function on the BCR to work even though
I have midi connection via USB both ways.

Are there any good free ware editors for OS X or should I get bcedit
working ? I think think I need to install this
