I Don't Doubt That It Was An Expense To Make the Plastic Overlay.. But.. jesus! $38 USD For Them Is A Lot! :(

In response to your posts the price for the U.S.A postage
has been lowered, a couple of dollers.

The reason the overlays appear so expensive
is the USD exchange rate
1.00 GBP = 1.95360 USD

To put things into perspective a pack of smokes costs
GBP £5.50 which is $11 USD

The overlays were quite expensive to have manufactured
and theres not much profit in them.

They are also a Unique product unavailable anywhere else.
& Only available in a limited amount.

Hope that explains the prices

Just got my overlays!! They work great. The key part is that they sit well on the board. The paper overlays I made didn't have cut outs for the buttons. These help it sit without moving, no adhesive needed.
Having come from a manufacturing background, I can appreciate that any product done with a short run (a small number of products produced) will have a higher price. The key is that they work and are durable, which is more than I can say about my paper cut outs.

The overlays are only available for the bcr.
It is a possability in the future 
to manufacture for the bcf aswell
This all depends on sales.
