BCF2000 Problems with motorfader and LEDs

2011-07-03 by c_tauscher

Hello guys,
since a few days i'm a lucky owner of the bcf2000. so far so good, but there are two problems which i'm not able to solve. i'm using cubase 5 and the bcf in the mackie mode.
everytime i move the motorfader the bcf put them itself to the "zero" position(after one second or so). how can i stop this automation? is this the normal-going? i don't want to stop the motor completely! And the second problem: the bcf doesn't show the actual led position of the push-button on top of the behringer.
thank you very much for your help!

chris

Yes, I think this is normal: when the BCF is in Mackie mode, you can only move its faders when a computer program (Cubase, Sonar, Reason etc.) has "announced" itself as a "master" to the BCF.
So as long as your BCF keeps putting the faders back, you apparently haven't set up the Mackie connection with Cubase correctly yet.

I'm not sure about this. It might be related to the above problem.

Hope this helps,
Mark.
