BCF2000: Looking for a non-MCU-based solution for other Cubase functions
2012-07-11 by cubasesix
Hi - First off, thank you to Mark and everyone who very patiently gave me some guidance a while back. Though the odds were against it (I'm not very lucky, computer-wise), after about a day of reviewing the info here and looking at youtube vids I got my BCF2000 hooked up as a MCU with Cubase 6.5 this week - all up and working - on the very first try!! So, not being smart enough to know when to stop :-) - I'm looking to try and control some functions in Cubase that are not mapped to the MCU emulation. These would include, in VariAudio: 1) The ability to operate a "slider" control (click/grab with mouse and drag, like a fader really). 2) The ability to punch an on screen button "deep" in the VariAudio functionality. I've been told that this isn't possible in MCU emulation, and that I'd need to use the BCF 2000 in another mode. Can someone point me in the right direction please? I did look through all the attachments, files and links here, as well as the usual google, but I couldn't identify anything there I could tell would help. Thanks!
