Help...

I am a newbie here, and I want to create hardware synth banks and be able to save and access them from a BC. Is this possible?? I know I can use it in various guises to control sequencers.

.. I have Kurzweil 2000r and K1000 modules and many Emu racks and various Yamaha and Roland etc. Can the BCR allow me to do this? (ie. store preset locations onboard and edit and recall various synths?).. If so, how many presets can I store?

I ideally wanted to buy something like the Kenton control freak, but they are discontinued. Why should Behringer be so slow to tell anyone what the midi storage and editing options are with the BCR? Terrible marketing.

No-one I have contacted (in various shops) has been able to tell me what the advantages are in using a BCR with hardware synths, or how I can use them in this context.. It would seem that Behringer and only selling to those 'in the know'

I use Starr Labs Ztars to control my synths, but I bought the Behringer FCB1010 footswitch to control presets and banks m, but it was too slow for the data stream, and kept crashing and hanging notes. I hope the BCR isn't like this?

Please help.. Many thanks

I have a number of hardware synths that I control with a BCR2000 and BCF2000.

You can save 32 presets inside the BC.
When you go from one preset to another thevalues you left the controls are remembered so you can swap back and forth from synth to synth and when you recall the preset it should be the same as you left off.

You can also get a preset to send out its current values to the synth.

But if you want to make the BC an extension of the synth.. that is .. make it stay in sync with preset changes on the synth then you have to do something like
