Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hello everyone, I have had this BCF2000 for over a year and have always had
this problem from day one. The only mode I can use is bc so I have used that
with Live 9 and have done OK. I wanted to try the emulation modes but when I
hold down say button 5, power up it shows the software version 1.10 then P -
1. It does that on all the emulation mode buttons. I did a  panic reset. I
am stumped. Could it be a f=defective unit? Any help would be great. I have
done this but it goes directly from 1.10 > P - 1     when I release the
button it goes off / on then P - 1 again ??
