Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi everyone,

I know this has already been covered, but I am missing some crucial details on how to set up my BCR-2000 with Rainer Keizer's preset. Could someone please advise me with a step by step instruction because I cannot seem to find anything to guide me.

I am running on Mac. I have a Motu midi interface, the Bcr2000 and a JX-8p set to accept sysex data and the midi is set to channel 16. I have downloaded the preset file from this page and I have both sysex librarian and BC manager so I feel like I'm ready to go, the only questions are...

- Where do I go from here?

- Which program do I use?

- What machines do I plug in to each other? and what plugs do I use (eg. midi in, midi thru etc)

- What settings must the BCR and JX be set to?

- Am I sending a signal through the Bcr into the JX? or is the sysex data being dumped into the BCR to then control the JX?

- How do I load sysex to the BCR and save it in there? Must it be in a certain mode?

Any help would be great - I'm struggling to work it all out
