New Database added for Features, Suggestions and Issues

New Database added for Features, Suggestions and Issues

2007-08-09 by Stephen Meiers

Hello All,

After the rousing discussion regarding features, suggestions and
issues, I looked at this Yahoo Group's "Database" feature and set up a
database for this topic. It's structure can be edited by myself or the
group owner and maybe any designated moderators. So if there are
issues with the database structure, just let us know and we'll try to
make it work better for the group.

Any member can add to and edit the database records, so please be
considerate and respect the work of others who have taken the time to
enter their comments. I set it up this way because I thought that
rather than create new records for each person, we can maintain an
item together. If this causes trouble, we can make them more
restrictive. But it seems like a good and cooperative crew, so lets
try it this way first.

Here's a link to it:
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/bc2000/database?method=reportRows&tbl=2

or you can also just navigate to it through the Database link on the
left of any of this group's pages.

This is meant as an option to maintaining individual txt files. We
should also be able to link to photos, graphics and files posted in
the other sections of the group, which might be useful occasionally.

After we get a few real records, I can delete the wordy explanations
in the example record that I posted.

Regards,

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
