MCU Emulation for the BCD2000/3000

Anyone interested in Mackie Control Universal emulation for Behringer controllers may be interested in this. I've just completed two MIDIOx VB scripts for the BCD2000/3000 DJ controllers. While hardly designed for such emulation, nearly all of the BCD's controls issue MIDI messages, and the BCD sports quite a few available buttons, encoders, pots and sliders. Since the BCD doesn't allow templates, and is all a single hardware preset, a conversion script is required. An interesting touch, however, of the BCD is that its LED's (there are quite a few, a la BCF/R) are themselves responsive to MIDI received; one of my two scripts takes advantage of this capability. The scripts are found within a large package of (MIDIOx VB) scripts for a wide variety of controllers, including the BCF, BCR and Nano. Both a descriptive text file and the entire zip archive (including the text file) is available. URL: http://www.arthunkins.com/articles.htm The collection is under the heading: "Control Surface Emulation of the Mackie Control Universal" The idea behind the collection is to emulate as many MCU features as possible that are common to all DAW's, and to permit the user to add DAW-specific controls on additional available controllers. Also, to switch out some of my default in-common controls, for other DAW- specific ones - thus allowing for a significant degree of customization.
