Hi Ken,
Just a quick question regarding the Wavemultiplier. I was
breadboarding it up last night, and I found that the pulse out
quickly turns to a triangle wave as the frequency is increased.
The 'scope reveals that this is due to slew rate limiting of the
LM324 as it tries to crash from rail to rail at only 0.5V/uS. I'm
just curious; is this by design to mimic what the original Serge unit
did?
I intend to put a TL074 in for IC4 which has a better slew rate of
13V/uS and sharpen up those edges. I'll also attenuate the output as
+/-15V is a bit hot :-0
Fun Circuit, but I must admit I haven't listened to it yet. Lots of
pretty pictures on the 'scope tho'.
