hi, if it's not the regular metal version but the black to-92 type, the emitter seems to
be pin one (flat side down, legs towards you, pin one is the left one). So the flat side
should be facing left (away from the unicorn on the pcb...).
i had to find it out the hard way, did it wrong the first time...
