Thanks for posting the link.. I only get a chance to read my mail
about once a week lately.
But yeah, the ASR and the Sub Osc are the important parts for making
this tune. The clock comes from a CGS utility LFO. Its really fun to
mess w/. Little changes of the pulse shape from the LFO, and the
slightest twist of any of the Sub Osc's 12 knobs drastically change
the melody.
I have the output of the subosc going to the clock for the ASR and to
an EG to trigger the VCA. Ive noticed that the EG and ASR respond to
the clock signal differently, which is really interesting too.
Sometimes it will play the same note a few times if the EG triggers
but not the ASR, and sometimes one note will bend up or down if the
ASR triggers and the EG doesn't retrigger.
Its really endless fun! Sometimes I take a the clock and route it
through an EG to another VCO making a drum sound to go w/ the melody.

I originally started building this synth so that I could have a
playable instrument, but to be honest, I dont think I'll ever hook it
up to my MIDI controller again. I am, however working on a midiclock
to trigger circuit, so that the synths melodies will be in time w/
other music equipment.
