Alright I am trying to get my head around the Analog Switch Matrix with companion module Weighted Random Shift as they are the next pcbs I plan to purchase and I have a few questions..
I've built 20+ CGS projects, I understand the build from the schematics but dont have the slightest clue how any of the circuitry works or what it does.
Analog Switch Matrix
You use an external source to switch this module, I take it the Control 0,1,2,3 ins are your gate inputs?
The build for the Analog Switch Matrix will be:
Jacks
4 In's
4 Control In's
1 Com In
4 Out's
1 Com Out
4 Mix in's
1 Mix out
Weighted Random Shift
Instructions say for best span of VCO's response RC should be omitted, is a link set in its place or just leave it blank?
The Weight CV In's 0, 1, 2, 3 each have 2 pads, what exactly is this for? Is each pad connected to a jack so 8 in total, and each cv in is the sum of the 2 jacks??? or am i totally off.
Also mentioned you could use four pots, how exactly does this work?
Now the Sig in 100k resistor is omitted (do you use a link??).. Do I still install the signal in jack still, will this allow me to use the Weighted Random Shift In and just use the outs from the Analog Switch Matrix or does the Analog Switch Matrix make up for this.
Weighted Random Shift build
1 Clock In Jack
4 (8?) Weighted Input Jacks / Pots?
4 CV Out Jacks
4 CV Out LEDS
4 Gate Out Jacks
4 Gate Out LEDS
1 Signal In Jack?
Thanks in advance
Chris
