When you say 1.1 volts, is this DC or is it oscillating?

For whatever reason, I only had 1 volt pk-pk on the output of my 3140.
I had built this module with an MPF102 FET. I replaced the MPF102 FET
with an NTE466 since I could buy it locally. The package is a TO-18
but would fit on the pcb rotated. This FET operates correctly and and
I get a 5 volt waveform on the output of the CA3140.
