If you study the rest of the CGS board/circuit descriptions you will find many examples of
how to wire raw inputs, include level pots, etc. Ken pages are an amazing (and amusing)
compilation of knowledge made easy. Whenever you don't find something specified, is
usually because it has been said somewere.
I don't have a clue of electronics, but I'll try to figure out what you'd like to know of the
VCO pots wiring...
"TUNE" pot: you have a description of how to wire it (just above the REV 0.2 corrections).
There are two options described. For me, the coolest is using one pot and the diode (since
you'll control the VCO with external voltages) You'll have to decide. Try both.
Other pots are maybe the ones on the CV input mixer...? those will have 0 gain in the
center and a bit more than unity gain at full CW rotation and a bit more than -1 at full
CCW rotation. This way you control amplitude of the incoming control voltage and can
invert it if you wish.
There are only two points on the pcb (see schematic PCW and PCCW) because extreme pins
of all pots (you may only use one) are conected together, so you'll take a wire from the pcb
PCW to -say- the right pin of first pot and from this pin to right pin of next pot etc (just
look at the schematic) Same from pcb point PCCW.
Then you have the pcb points for center pins of each pot (PW1, PW2) From the PCB you
conect to a 100k resistance that is soldered to the input jack on the other extreme (just
look at the schematic)
I hope I'm right =:S Anyhow, you see it's not difficult to find out, just read many times, it's
all there.
