I spent some more time working on my CGS-44 Delay Development board.
I had temporarily suspended working on this since my prototype
stopped functioning some time ago. I since found a missing ground
wire and connecting ground to the comparator makes it work correctly!
I've added VC control to the delay and added feedback potentiometers
for more precise control of the echo. I also added a bypass function.
It's an interesting part but I've since picked up a nice Ibanez DM500
digital delay so I am tempted not to finish this to save both $$ and
the more valuable rack space (I'm down to 6U remaining!).
I updated my schematics and photos at
http://modularsynthesis.com/modules/DJB%20Echo-Delay/djb_echo-delay.

Until I decide what to do, I temporarily assembled the module using
some black foam-core for a front panel. I just wrote on it with
pencil while debugging and later added some labels. It works OK for a
prototype and most components fit through the slightly larger panel
thickness. I put a photo in the files section.
