Just use the Mix In. It is exactly the same as using a DC mixer. As for the
range, sure, it could add to the point where you hit the power rails, BUT
this happens everywhere there is DC mixing anyway. What prevents you from
going too high is practicality. For VCO control, going over 10 volts will
not result in a usable signal anyway. The pitch will be way too high.
