CGS 14 clean PSU Suitable transformer?

Ive built a CGS 14 clean power supply. Can I use a 12v or 24v AC wall
wart to power it. These are the only reasonably priced transformers
here (Ireland).

Or does anyone know where I could salvage or buy for a reasonable
price a center tapped transformer?
