issue. You cannot however apply a DC voltage to the INPUT and expect to
control the carrier.
Often with ring modulators, no distinction is made between the input and the
carrier input, as they are more or less interchangeable at audio
frequencies. However, at low frequencies and D.C. they are not
interchangeable as the transformer blocks D.C. as you suggest.
