Ken @ Richard, Thanks for your replies!

I'll put an attentuator after the CV In since the quantizer *should*
be at the output it's fine to attentuated non quantized signals from
e.g. my noise source without an output attentuator. My brief testing
with an quant. signal suggests that the ASR will output at least
fairly quant. signals as well. But that could be my (bad) hearing.
