Hi Folks,
I recently joined the group as I've started building some of Ken's designs in Frac format. Some of you may already know me as Adam-V from various other forums.
I've got a question or two about the polypropylene caps used in the S&H section of the analogue shift register. The build notes mention using polypropylene capacitors and I've managed to track these ones down (http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=RG5234&CATID=51&form=CAT&SUBCATID=866) but they are rather large - too large to fit onto the board without folding the legs under actually. Is it worth trying to shoe-horn these into the board? Has anybody used smaller MKT caps and are you happy with the results?
Cheers,
Adam-V
