Re: CGS 116 ADSR question

2012-09-22 by Stephen Richards

HI Again Ken

I have just noticed that the 51.1K Resistor in the Output section is actually a 51.1 ohm (green, brown , brown , gold , brown).

Do you think this might be the problem here ? I'm going to change it out and make myself a 51.1K

Hi Ken

Have replaced the BC547 in same orientation as per PCB stencil.
I see now that this is the same as a reversed transistor as the BC547 pinout is opposite to the 2N3565.

Still no function.

Constant LED has stopped , don't know if thats good or bad in this case.

Have checked IC orientations. All correct.

I'm completely stumped.

>Could i have cooked them getting them out maybe ?

probably not. Just use a multimeter to check them if you are worried.

>Would it be worth replacing them ?

Maybe. It would eliminate the posibility. The down side is constant removal
of parts from the board will start lifting tracks.

Ken
