I just noticed as well in the schematic ... quote:
"This schematic is correct for CGS77 VER1.2. Some labels differ for
VER1.1 but the circuit is otherwise identical."
That, could be the problem. :o The leg of the feedback 68k comes into
contact with pin 6 of the chip as well as the junction of the 330R to
HP Out and the next 68K, passing a 470R to Ground that feeds pin 3 of
the 1st CA3080.
