You will get droop no matter what value resistors you use. Some buffering will be needed. You can use op-amps wired as voltage followers. For each stage/op-amp, connect the - input of the op-amp to the output of the op-amp. Connect the + input of the op-amp to the wiper of the pot. The output of the op-amp then goes to the three seq switches.
