thanks for your speedy reply.here is the pic… of the board and the wiring…yes i was aware of not needing a cable for the 0v part but since it doesn't work, i thought it might be some grounding issues.bestD<IMG20171229191751.jpg><IMG20171229191607.jpg>On 29 Dec 2017, at 19:05, "Ken Stone otherunicorn@... You do not need a link between the 0V holes above the 100uF caps - that is a point where you can access 0V in case you need to wire something to it. The link will not hurt anything though. On Fri, Dec 29, 2017 at 7:12 PM, pigeonsmusik pigeonsmusik@... [cgs_synth] <cgs_synth@yahoogroups.com> wrote:Hi,
I need some help in getting the SPM to work.
I've soldered up all the components and pots and the links and even added a link at the 0v above the 100uf caps.
When I power up the unit, the leds don't blink and unless I touch one side of the cable linking to the led, on the end of the led, the led lights up but it doesn't blink.
I'm using yellow leds for the individual oscillator. And I've connect a orange led to the LED driver section and LD driver to the output of the banana jack that i'm using.
I'm using MOTM power distribution board from CGS and only +15v, 0v, 0v, -15v is connected.
I can't figure out where i went wrong. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
best
Dennis

Oh no!!! Yes ur right…. I didn't understood what RL stood for…. now i see the problem after referring to the schematics and the tracks on the board!
thanks for pointing that out and thanks for the help. Will hook it up… hopefully (fingers crossed) that it will work!
