I've sent a drawing to the files section for the Infinite Melody. I
think this will be mentioned automatically, but its my first attempt
at this, so I'm sure I've screwed it up somewhere.
One may ask: "why in god's name did I do this?" - Fair enough!
As I've mentioned to Ken previously, it is partly because: 1) I'm
learning this new drawing program and it has coincided with my
assembly of a bunch of CGS boards/ckts, and 2) Because when I do
these "stuff the pcb kinda things", I usually to them in 2s or 4s...
(I have 2 of every ckt...don't ask...)whilst thinking of possible
panel designs - and my now diminishing brain-power gets me confused
easily these days. I find that with Ken's style of circuit
documentation, that these drawings make it WAY easier for me anyhow
(remember 2-3 brains cells left...) to get the thing wired and
thinking ahead, as I said, about possible panel designs.
I really like many of the CGS ckts/ideas and I see a fair amount of
others building these things too! Well - there's quite a lot of room
for creativity with the CGS ckts and this might help someone - like
it helps me - get to a final panel and circuit 'options' design.
Which I believe applies to the Infinite Melody in current discussions.
So I'm just offering this up for all to peruse - to hopefully assist
in the 'conceptualizing' of the final module/panel one may be heading
towards. These drawings evolve as I go along - but I also consider
them "cheat-sheets" too - for when I get to the 'wiring up to the
panel' part of construction - its usually well after the pcb stuffing
thing and I forget everything I've already gone through in figuring
out the circuit!
If its really stupid - I apologize in advance...but please feel free
to pick apart and point out where I may have messed up the wiring
connection points - I didn't totally scrutinize/check the thing yet...
I'll correct it then as time permits.
