A little more detail-
Mike used four 1N60 diodes and two of Mouser # 42XL002 transformers.
This transformer has a 10K primary and 2K secondary. The transformer
page in the new Mouser catalog is 576. Ken's recommendation of
42TM018 is about twice the size (still quite tiny at less than a
cubic inch)and is 10K across the primary and secondary. Both
transformers are center-tapped on both sides. Mike's initial reports
have gotten my interest piqued, so I'm going for the 42TM018
I have a small quantity of old Ge diodes and I could have sworn that
I had a lot of 1N34's that I got recently. I'll keep looking...
