Via the standard control inputs (0-3) they require a logic high, which is
any voltage over about 2V as per all of my gate detectors.

Specifically for direct connection to the CGS51.

>And, it is intended to work with CGS51? (the 4 gate outs to CGS55 control ins?)

Yes. The connections can be external if you want to keep the modules
separate, however I feel the integral switch of the CGS51 is ... well...
laughable... The CGS55 is really part of the CGS51 design. In such a casem
the CGS51 switcher is built in a different manner, so it directly drives its
companion CGS55. Details will come. I didn't intend to release these pages
yet as they are not finished, but with the loss of the cgs web site, it was
easier just to upload my local copy as it was - even half finished.

A router that randomly directs an input to one of four outputs, though the
likelyhood of one output being selected over the others can be voltage
controlled. This was a special request design from a year or so back (Hi
Jeff - I haven't forgotten!).
