Go to Yahoo groups. Sign up to ModularSynthPanels group. It hasn't
seen a lot of activity lately, but there are a lot of panel designs
there. Many are in Front Panel Express Designer format (FPD). You can
get the FPE software for free here:

It only runs on Windows.
Once you sign up to the panels group, go to the files section and
browse. Download the files and display them with FPE. You will find
several different (very different) CGS VCO panels. Mine is in the
Richard Brewster Designs subdirectory. I chose a minimal 1U format,
because I wanted to get 2 VCOs into 2U. So I omitted the waveshaping
features. Even if you don't want to order the very expensive FPE
panels, you can get a lot of design ideas.
