super psy lfo, volume control on each voice

super psy lfo, volume control on each voice

2004-12-02 by Jeff Foster

hi all,
I want to add a volume control to each of the osc on the super psy
lfo.
What is the best place to add a pot on the mix bus, before or after
the 470K res? Can I add a 100k pot before the 470k res and be done?
Are their affects on the mixer op-amp...

btw I run the board in the audio range and build strang cords , then
run this thru mulitap delays and get all kinds of interesting phase
and comb filtering effects as I adjust the tuning. I need to add a
fine tune pot in line with the main tuning pot. the main pot is 1m
so 100k would be 10 percent, so maybe a 5k pot to dail it it just so.
I love the "beating" between the tunings....

digital surpeti

thanks for any info,
jeff

Before the 470k. CCW end to 0V/GND. CW end to output of inverter. Wiper to
the 470k resistor.

For really fine tuning, the lower the value of the pot the better, but you
will need a little "overlap" - its range must be greater than the finest
setting you can do with the 100k pot. As such, 5k is probably what you want.
10k is probably too coarse.
