Hi Gentlemen!

You might have success with this part TLE2144CN I've been experimenting with
them lately. It's a high-speed DIP Opamp that is TL074 pin-for-pin
compatible from Texas Instruments.

(They're about five times the price of a TL074)

www.mouser.com part number 595-TLE2144CN

Best Wishes!

Cynthia

Thanks for the tip. I must say, I'm not particularly worried about
using the fastest possible amp, and after putting in a TL074, I'm
quite happy with the waveshape coming out now.

In fact, I'm eying up that spare amp on IC2d which I still have as an
LM324, and I think I'll put a switch in to select between 'hard' and
'soft' pulse output. :->)

Cheers

Andy
