CV Cluster as Octave Switch

It seems like it would be a pretty simple thing to turn the cv cluster
into an octave switch for a VCO.
CV in is 1v/oct
Mod in is not a jack but a constant 5v source.
Switch the outputs to a single jack and you have octaves.
Does this seem feasable?
