10uF capacitors pitch ?

10uF capacitors pitch ?

2005-09-16 by Andre Majorel

Ken,

am I hallucinating, or do you use a 3.5mm pitch for some of the
10µF caps ? On CGS02 and CGS10, for instance. I don't have the
PCBs so I can't check myself.

Only if I have to span a track. It would mean installing another link if I
didn't.

LM394 equivalent?

2005-09-19 by Gerald Stevens

Hello,
I was working on a parts order for a CGS48 VCO, and found that the LM394
matched transistor pair is obsolete / no longer carried. Any ideas about
replacements? Or where I could get one? Mouser, Newark, and Digikey all come
up empty.

I think I bought mine here:
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Criteria?Ref=454740&Site=US&Cat=31786109

yea, thats digikey. otherwise, if you don't want that one, I think the
MAT-02 has the same pinout (better double check it) but that costs about
twice as much.

Elby designs has a "hard to get parts" package too.

You may need to clip a couple of legs off the MAT02 depending on the version
of the PCB. The legs are "n.c." anyway so you won't miss them :)
