Quesiont about pots 2002-07-26 by l8xbass What is the difference between a "1 Meg Log" pot and a "1 Meg" pot. If I use a 1 Meg in place of a 1 Meg Log will there be a huge difference? thanks
Re: Quesiont about pots 2002-07-26 by sasami@hotkey.net.au 1 Meg would refer to linear taper. 1 Meg Log refers to audio taper. The difference is the response to position. The log pots are a lot less sensitive to movement at one end of their rotation. Other than that, they do the same job.
