Thanks for the imput from everyone. I looked at the
PAia website and looks like I may start from there as
was suggested. If any other ideas, options or inpur,
please let me know.

Paul

I started w/ the paia, and I think its a great choice. Its not a
super high precision piece of gear, but they pack a lot of stuff in
that little synth for the price.
My osc's track pretty well over my entire 88 key controller. There are
a couple of spots where they are off (and its not at the ends, which
is strange).
The filters take some getting used to, and are definately different
from your standard filters. Once you get them figured out, they sound
pretty good.
The VCA is alright too. I thought mine was very noisy, but I just
re-read the manual and learned that there was a trim pot that was not
adjusted correctly.

Definately a great starter synth

If you really want to start your modular collection off right, (and
since this is a cgs forum) I'd say you should get the synthacon
filter, and maybe build the ring mod or sub osc as well. They would
integrate nicely w/ the paia.

I just ordered several kits from elby-designs.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
