Cgs synth

Hi, Ive got a bunch of cgs modules on the way, but ordered some PCB's
from the musicfromouterspace website for my VCA. It states in the VCA
info that it only works w/ +/-5v. I have been reading that the cgs
modules sometimes use higher voltages.

Do you think I am going to run into any issues here? will that VCA
not cut off the sound completely? If so, how do I bring that level
down? Just send it through a pot?

Yes, a pot wired as a voltage divider. This is why having an input level pot
is a good idea. I would expect the VCA will kill the signal irrespective of
the singal level, though a too high level may cause distortion. In fact, it
may work perfectly well with the higher input.
